Automated Content: We don’t allow reviews that are primarily generated by an automated program or artificial intelligence application. If you have identified such content, it should be marked as spam in your feed using the <is_spam> attribute.
In other words, artificial intelligence-generated content for reviews is deemed spam.
And it’s understandable why they’re doing so. They would like you to leave a “real” review. One that informs potential consumers about whether they should do business with a certain firm or purchase a product.
An A.I. produced review will not provide the same level of feedback to potential buyers as a human-written review.
But I’m sure it won’t end there…
A.I. can produce inaccurate results
Although A.I. is fantastic, it is not without problems. Keep in mind that its output is determined by the inputs.
Inputs are often the entire web that is scraped, and we all know that a lot of the stuff out there is erroneous, which can result in negative A.I. outputs.
And it doesn’t always follow that it will improve with time. A Stanford research, for example, discovered that ChatGPT went from correctly answering a basic maths question 98% of the time to barely 2% of the time.
To put it another way, things became worse with time.
Another example of A.I. inaccuracy is that 284 medical queries were submitted to ChatGPT by physicians from 17 different disciplines. They discovered that it was 92% accurate.
Although 92% is an A in school, when it comes to medical advise, the incorrect suggestion can damage or even kill you.
So, what do we think Google will do?
Although search engines have no problem with AI-Generated Content, they will want to limit what it can and cannot be used for… at least in search results.
For example, I doubt they’ll want to show off AI-Generated Content about your money or your life.
In essence, financial advice, medical advice, or anything else that is proved to be incorrect may cause harm.
They don’t want A.I. produced reviews, and they don’t want AI-Generated Content for anything that may be harmful to someone.
On the other hand, I don’t suppose they’d mind if an A.I. essay on “how to tie a tie” was incorrect. Because, in the worst-case scenario, a crooked or uneven tie will make you seem horrible.

If you’re using AI to create content, make sure to have a human evaluate it. That way, you can be certain that it is correct and adds the maximum value to others.
We’re seeing a lot of firms using A.I. technology for various kinds of content. In the long term, we believe their algorithms will favour human-written material as it becomes more scarce.
